professionals pooled their talent and resources.
They formed a fresh, vibrant company driven by the
goal “to build a professional service organization
that provides international trade services which
strengthen our clients’ global supply chains.” In
fact, that is Marisol’s mission statement!
To achieve that stated goal, Marisol’s founders knew
the true key to success would be in offering their
clients maximum service with minimal excuses. So
they set themselves to task finding and developing
an outstanding team while planning a dynamic company
culture.

Marisol’s current President, George
Winters III, held the position of Vice President
with UPS Supply Chain Solutions and Fritz Companies,
Inc prior to joining Marisol. George’s lengthy
career also includes executive positions at Sealand
Services and Emery Worldwide.
Managing Partner, Mike Vogt, LCB guided Marisol as
our company’s original President from
2002 – 2007. Before forming Marisol, Mike was the
Regional Vice President, Plains Region, with Fritz
Companies, Inc. for 19 years. Early in his career,
Mike formed Trade Services International, Inc and
was instrumental in establishing the Port of Entry
in Springfield, Missouri.
Ruth Arneson is Marisol’s Vice President of Trade
Lane Development and is responsible for carrier
contracts at the international level. Before forming
Marisol, Ruth held the position of National Account
Manager with Fritz Companies, Inc. and the position
of Senior Sales with the Carnation Company.
Marisol Vice President, Jim Simmons, is credited
with being the spark that brought Marisol to life.
Before forming Marisol, Jim was a Regional Manager –
Plains Region with Fritz Companies, Inc. Jim has
also held a variety of Customer Service and
Corporate Training positions in the transportation
industry with United Airlines and America West
Airlines.
Jason Colt, Marisol Vice President, directs
Marisol’s warehousing and related operations in
addition to his executive duties. Before forming
Marisol International in 2002, Jason held senior
management positions with Fritz Companies, Inc.,
Panalpina, Inc., and Evergreen International.
